West Pulaski Fire Department is a proud recipient of a new tanker truck that will be located at our Station # 2 on Kanis Road. This truck is part of an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) from the federal FEMA program and has been a project in the works for 3 years. This brand new 2027 Kenworth truck , custom built by Toyne Manufacturing in Breda, Iowa, hauls over 3,000 gallons of water and has an on-board pump and more. We are super thrilled to get a truck like this to serve all of our fire district and is a primary truck for the Pulaski County Tanker Taskforce. We plan bring it to local events starting tonight at our WPFD Annual Public Meeting and let you get up close and take a look.
